Well, I've jumped in. My own blog! This blog will deal mostly with my hobby, collecting radio airchecks. Radio airchecks are simply a recording of the radio.
Most people don't think much about recording the radio these days if they ever did. But, think about it...what if your favorite radio personality is suddenly gone from the station you listen to most? What if the station itself suddenly no longer exists due to a format change? There are many more scenarios we could list, but the fact is, radio airchecks are a brief history of a live presentation of a day and time in radio history that will never be repeated UNLESS...someone, somewhere, recorded a smidgen of it!
That's what I do! Record and collect Radio airchecks!
